Problem statement

Aspire is the premier NEET and IIT coaching in Himachal Pradesh. They had tried multiple softwares for creating a question bank, but the quality of the paper wasn't upto the founder's expectation.

The process was time-consuming - taking multiple people multiple days for each paper. The process also had to be repeated each year and the resulting material was not only prone to bugs, it had multiple fonts, poor support for chemistry and math, etc.

The solution

A Latex, Mhchem and Openchemlib capable platform for inserting questions, generating the most high quality output for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology.

Inserting a question takes between a few seconds (90%ile) to a couple of minutes tops, automated correction for grammar and spellings and diagrams. Easy generation of question papers and sets for offline tests. Students can also attempt papers online with immediate scoring and ai-powered feedback on performance.

An interesting Anecdote

While Smiles is amazing at generating organic chemistry structures, there are some cases where the questions require features not supported by standards. For example, explicitly showing some Carbon atoms in a chain or having a generic Nu attached to a benzene ring. After searching for alternatives and finding them insufficient for our use case, we modified the code in the OCL library to replace any set of atoms with user provided texts. The end result fits our problem like a glove!

The problem

Financial Analysts are expensive. Junior analysts spend bulk of their time reading pages and pages of reports and share them with seniors, most of that data is proprietary.

The key requirement in the financial world is accuracy. Present-day LLMs are nowhere near the level of accuracy required for this. Trust needs to established as any wrong information can be worth a serious sum of money.

The Solution

A beautiful mix of tech and AI - a chatbot and report generator. Under the hood, we implemented a multi-step process to generate high-confidence answers with citations for the users to verify. RAGs, models from OpenAI, Gemini, Perplexity and OCR - a bunch of tech chained together to create a very satisfying product. Optimized for iteration speed, one of the most satisfying outcomes.

Wish we could show-off our work and the absolutely brilliant back-end, but that would give away the recipe.

Problem Statement

Doomscrolling and short-videos are disasterous for mental health, especially kids. However, most of their world today is online and simply not joining a social network takes a big cost of social life.

The aim is to create a social network without the harmful effects of social media. Safety, both technical and social, have been paramount. The platform started with intellectuals as target audience, slowly morphing to a general purpose social network, with knobs for controlling the experience of different users.

Overview

Highly impressed by our work in the test-series project, Aspire Academy wanted us to do our magic to the other requirements of their organization as well. From time-tables to sales, from attendance to front-desk to marketing, a one-stop solution to fuel the organization to next level of growth.

The major component of this project was understanding user requirements. Everyone has their own needs and use-cases which they wanted to be solved while at the same time, the management wants to have a game-like summary interface for their organization.
